One of my attendings at the University of Washington had baseball tickets she was not able to use so last night Dunn, Zach and I jumped on the opportunity to see our newly adopted team romp the Detroit Tigers.
The final score was 13-3, with the Mariners scoring 9 runs in the first inning. It kind of made the game less exciting than the 1-0 win over Montreal but it was fun to see the ball fly. There were more homeruns than I think I've ever seen in a baseball game, including a grand slam--quite a treat.
